I wanted to take a second to talk about trixbox.  Notice how the 't' is lowercase.  It's supposed to be that way and not 'T'.
 
Anyways, trixbox, used to be Asterisk@home.  it was bought and redone up as trixbox by Fonality, makers of PBXtra.
There are two main distros of trixbox - Pro and CE.  CE stands for community edition, and is open source.  It runs on 1.4.x and is not maintained by Fonality.  trixbox Pro on the other hand runs 1.2, and is maintained by Fonality.
 
trixbox CE is free, while Pro costs money in terms of licensing.
 
It's been a while since I've played with CE, but I can help you out with it.  Pro comes in 3 and soon to be 4 editions.  That I can assist you with without any issues.
 
They each have their pros and cons.
